Psychodiagnostic testing

I offer in-depth psychological evaluations for mood and anxiety disorders, trauma, personality disorders, severe mental illness, and other psychiatric disorders. I also provide ADHD and Autism testing for adults. Perhaps you are experiencing a variety of symptoms and are having difficulty making sense of them, or you have a long list of diagnoses and feel they may not be entirely accurate, or maybe you are hoping to confirm a previous diagnosis and update your treatment plan. My evaluation will provide clarity of your diagnoses and a solid treatment plan to guide your treatment.

For the testing process, we will meet with you to discuss your symptoms and personal history during a clinical interview (3 hours). Before we meet, you will also complete a set of online questionnaires about your symptoms (this usually takes no more than an hour) that help to inform the interview process. After our meeting, I will analyze and interpret all of the gathered information (3 hours). Finally, we will meet to discuss the results, any applicable psychiatric diagnoses, and treatment recommendations (1 hour). After our meeting, I will provide you with an informal and detailed summary of the results for reference and to help guide you through next steps.

The cost of psychodiagnostic testing typically costs around $2800. Very rarely, there may be a need for additional testing or chart review, though we will discuss this and the additional expected costs before we proceed further with testing.

If needed, I can provide a formal report. Written reports are often created for other treatment providers who need a formal report explaining the testing process, detailed assessment data, and diagnostic justifications to help guide their treatment and decision making. The written report is in addition to the cost of the time we meet, and the cost is dependent on the length of the report, however the average rate of a written report is an additional $2400.
