About ME
Welcome! I am licensed psychologist and Bay Area native. I hold a doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in Counseling Psychology from Purdue University (2020), a MA degree in Clinical Psychology from Columbia University, Teachers College (2015), and a BA degree in Psychology from the University of California, Santa Cruz (2007).
Through many years of intensive coursework and research, advanced residency training, and professional experience providing therapy, I have developed a strong foundation of evidence-based therapeutic interventions and skills to identify, treat, and relieve various mental health concerns. I currently specialize in therapy for women with trauma, anxiety, panic, phobias, autism, and ADHD. I also provide psychological assessment for ADHD, ASD, complex psychological presentations, and accommodation testing for high stakes exams for all genders. My graduate and post-graduate training is extensive; as part of my clinical training, I worked with culturally and psychologically diverse patients in both inpatient and outpatient hospitals, community mental health clinics, veterans hospitals, and a university counseling center. In these settings, I provided individual and group therapy, as well as crisis intervention, trauma stabilization, psychoeducation, and psychological and neuropsychological assessment. During my graduate training, I also conducted research on understanding more about immigrant and refugee mental health concerns, and improving access to mental health services for underserved populations living in the United States. The above experiences continue to inform my clinical work every day, and reflect who I am as a clinician and as an individual. If you believe I would be a good fit for your needs, please do not hesitate to call me at (415) 594-5241 or contact me by clicking here.
