THERAPY FAQS
FAQS
WHO DO YOU PROVIDE THERAPY FOR?
I have dedicated my individual therapy practice to working with women-identifying individuals.
Areas I specialize in include trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety disorders such as panic disorder, phobias, and generalized anxiety, and women with ADHD, and Autism.
I work to continuously provide a safe therapeutic space where all feel welcome and supported. I am neuro-affirming, gender-affirming, and I welcome those from LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC groups to my practice. Much of my research and therapeutic interests have centered on cultural humility and understanding, particularly around refugees and immigrants groups. I welcome all, whether or not you identify with one or more of the groups above. Hate and discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated in my practice.
WHAT ARE YOUR RATES?
I charge $350 per 50-minute session.
WHAT THERAPEUTIC APPROACHES ARE YOU TRAINED IN?
I use a variety of therapeutic interventions, with extensive training and experience in using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Prolonged Exposure (PE), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). I ground my approach in the therapy room through feminist and multicultural theories. I tailor my therapeutic approach based on your presenting concerns and my clinical knowledge of the most effective and evidence-based treatments for those concerns.
DO YOU OFFER ASSESSMENT/TESTING?
Yes, I offer assessments for a variety of concerns including ADHD, Autism Spectrum, psychoeducational assessments for high stakes exams accommodations, and complex presentations that may require more in-depth testing. I work with all genders for testing. To know more about my assessment services, please read more here.
